I’m Brittany Linstrom. I grew up in the bible-belt of western Michigan (Muskegon) to be exact. I currently reside in Ann Arbor, MI (Mecca of the Yuppies).

I’m a college graduate, whatever that means these days. I hold in my hand an Associate’s Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree (not actually in my hand, they’re probably lost somewhere). For two years, I was a flight attendant for the World’s Premier Global Airline (that is, when I actually went to work). I like to travel, I hate the people on airplanes and in the airport. It does make for some damn good banter though. Even though I hated my job, it afforded me the ability to travel around the world (for FREE! even) and do things I’d never dream possible.

I’d rather stay at home with my live-in boyfriend and pretty up our new home (which is really code for hang out on the couch and look cute together). I have a dog who lives with us and our rabbit. Lucy gets along so well with Bubs C. Stand, the rabbit; in fact, she’s scared of him.

The name Yuppish came from Matt, who shot down the name NotQuiteAYuppie. I’m not going to lie, I do like this better. A yuppie is defined as “a young urban professional” (by Wikipedia – the end all, be all of information on the interwebs). It defines me, Matt, us. It happens, no matter how hard you try for it not to happen.
