101 Uses for my French Bread

Yesterday,
I made 2 loaves of French bread. It’s amazing. I have so much of it though. I don’t know what to do with it all. I tried to pawn some of it off on Ginny, but she’s unfortunately under the weather (ps, get well soon). I told my dad about it and he said I’d have to make it next time I came home (I wouldn’t be able to get it to him anyways, they’re 3 hours away). I told Aparna I made it, but I haven’t told her she can have some (ps, you can if you want).
I finally got the veterinarian to prescribe some medicine for Lucy and by the time we got back, it was lunch time. Matt requested grilled cheese sammiches, so that’s what I made. Yum, except the part where I couldn’t have one.

I’m pretty sure there’s nothing better than grilled cheese on homemade bread. Well, maybe if I had some amazing cheese, it’d be even better. Matt’s ok with Kraft cheddar, and I’m ok with that. He probably wouldn’t have noticed if I used Kraft singles, but those are for the dog medicine now.
Last night I decided that I wanted to make with the balsamic vinegar I bought a few weeks ago. I couldn’t decide if I want to make dinner with it tomorrow or what. I scoped out the recipes on Tasty Kitchen and found an awesome one, Honey Balsamic Chicken. I can’t wait to make it, but I wanted something last night. So I fooled around a little bit and made this dipping oil.

I’m not going to lie, it’s FREAKING amazing. I can’t wait to try it today, I put it in the refrigerator last night and I’m waiting for it to come to room temperature today. The garlic in it soaked up the balsamic vinegar and um, yeah. I can’t wait to try it.
Do you have any other ideas for yummy things to eat with French bread?

Or, you could gnaw ravenously on it until it disappears … that might be what I would do with it. G-d, I miss bread.
